AISI 316Ti - X6CrNiMoTi17-12-2 - DIN 1.4571

316Ti grade contains a small amount of Titanium (Ti), which is around %0,5. The advantage of 316Ti grade over the other two grades (316 - 316L) is, it keeps its strength under increasing tempatures.

Machinibility is possible with the right tools, but it is more difficult than 304. Cold forming is good. Weldability is good.

With the addition of Molybdenum (Mo) and Titanium (Ti), corrosion resistance is superior. There is no sign of rusting uu to 900 °C degree. They are resistant to oxidising and wet chloride environments.

Alternative grades: AISI 316L
